Transmogrify - to metamorphose or to completely change the nature or appearance.

I must admit, there are days where I'd like to transmogrify into something entirely different. Maybe something tall, willowy, and blonde? Or sultry, petite, and Oriental? Or maybe something just slightly less dumpling-shaped and geeky. On the other hand, being dumpling-like, I have to believe that the people who hang around with me aren't just doing it for glamour or to bask in the hotness; they must really like me for who I am.  A few years ago that would have seemed a poor consolation prize for the dumplingness, but as I age it becomes increasingly important.  Yes, I'd still like to have some hotness that people want to bask in, but I think it's more important to be hotness of the mind, heart, or spirit than just of the body.  Bodies age and fade, the other types of hotness just increase with time.
